Since 1981, the company ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ offers on the domestic and world market products abrasives of high quality. With respect to the environment, with high quality products and through continuous research, the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ managed the continuous expansion of its activities. 

Knowing gradual development, and by focusing on the commercial activity in the international market, now responsible for 85% of its production to Europe, Asia, Africa and 15% in the Greek market. The products of the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ are exported to more than 72 countries.

The explanatory report of utilization of the property for development purposes, through divestiture

The premises of the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ, due to rapid increase of the capacity of the industry, would pay the elaboration of studies and individual licensing of establishments that adopted the existing derogations from the current building regulations.

To a 38.100 t.m. studied 17.500 t.m. covered surface, re, with the aim of granting a single and comprehensive authorisation. For the needs of the project prepared the explanatory report of utilization of the property for development purposes through divestment. 

Accordingly, and in accordance with the needs of the company we have taken:

Acquisition municipal area

With the new law sale of municipal land, indivisible, i.e. without the possibility of partition, the company applied the acquisition of a specific area, contiguous, even if it wasn't for programming structures in this. Specifically, the area that had an elevation difference with the existing plant, and, moreover, passing through that cable lines high-voltage Distribution Network Operator (DNO).

This gave a great advantage during the phase of acquisition, because the only reason interest was the annexation and exploitation of this area to increase the rate of coverage of the existing installation. This is the reason proposed by the ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Engineering the acquisition through participation in the contest posted by the Municipality of Xanthi. Due to the peculiarities mentioned above, there has been no claim of the area by a third party.

By the time of the takeover, and later, the industry entered a new phase of operation.

Held single, detailed topographic mapping new and existing land 38 acres and was drafted new chart coverage of the plants. The building structures of the company was carried out architecture mapping and prepared study of structural adequacy.

With the aim of addressing the facilities overall, prepared study of fire safety ιn the three building complexes of ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ, the overall volume was divided into individual fire compartments. This strategy aligned the fire safety measures taken with the applicable legislation, as it reduced the volume into smaller sections, thus allowing the studies to establish the legal conditions for minimal subsequent interventions in the existing buildings.

For the preparation of electrical studies, an inspection was carried out at the site of the industrial units to enable the mapping of the electrical installations. Subsequently, the electrical installation floor plans and the single-line diagrams of the panels were prepared. Additionally, the substation of the factory was redesigned along with the distribution single-line diagrams of the panels.

Finally, prepared single engineering equipment and production both for the lodging of a notification function from the ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Engineering as well as for the submission of a dossier investment ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Finance.

Exactly the same logic has been prepared single electrical study after the existing substation. The recording of the electrical installation gave me the ability to control the compliance of the network in the standard HD 384 and were made where necessary, the appropriate modifications.

The licensing worked out as planned and the company arrived at the point of implementation of all planned and budgeted work of development and modernisation. 

Specifically, the unit, joined in parallel in the context of the development of a law for the modernization of machinery, through the company ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Finance of the group.Actions of ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Finance, to meet the growing needs of the company, submitted a proposal investment plan for inclusion in the provisions of the investment Law 4399/2016 in the scheme "General Business".

The investment plan of € 940.000,00€, which was prepared from the strains of ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Finance it included new mechanical equipment for the expansion of the production line, a new system for storage of ready-made product as well as the necessary machinery transport of these products.For the completion of the process was a study of the viability of the investment as well as the necessary feasibility study.
