Since 1981, the company ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ offers on the domestic, but also in the global market, products abrasives of high quality. With respect to the environment, with high quality products and through continuous research, the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ managed the continuous expansion of its activities.
Knowing gradual development, and by focusing on the commercial activity in the international market, now responsible for 85% of its production to Europe, Asia, Africa and 15% in the Greek market. The products of the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ are exported to more than 72 countries.
The premises of the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ, due to rapid increase of the capacity of the industry, would pay the elaboration of studies and individual licensing of establishments that adopted the existing derogations from the current building regulations.
In the context of the aforementioned needs and in collaboration with ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Engineering, all necessary implementation procedures for the project were initiated.

The premises of the ΣΜΥΡΔΕΞ, due to rapid increase of the capacity of the industry, would pay the elaboration of studies and individual licensing of establishments that adopted the existing derogations from the current building regulations. To a 38.100 t.m. studied 17.500 t.m. covered surface, re, with the aim of granting a single and comprehensive authorisation. For the needs of the project prepared the explanatory report of utilization of the property for development purposes through divestment.
Solution
With the new law sale of municipal land, indivisible, i.e. without the possibility of partition, the company applied the acquisition of a specific area, contiguous, even if it wasn't for programming structures in this. Specifically, the area that had an elevation difference with the existing plant, and, moreover, passing through that cable lines high-voltage Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
The approval for a derogation concerning the rate of coverage of the surface, and the lateral distance of the buildings from the boundaries of the field. The result of methodical of these events was, ultimately, the disclosure function of the industry with coverage of all the activities and facilities. The distances and the existing facilities, claimed the derogation as the result of a traffic study within the area.
