Together with the preliminary publication of the action "support for the establishment and operation of new small and medium-sized enterprises", which regards the whole of the economic activity outside of Tourism, it was announced, and the corresponding for the specific domain.
Purpose
The action "Reinforcement of the Foundation and Operation of New Tourism Business" aims to strengthen entrepreneurship in the Tourism sector, through the creation of new micro, small and medium-sized businesses selected SMR tourism. The budget of the action is in 160.000.000€ and will be implemented with the use of resources of the programme "Competitiveness" of the NSRF 2021 – 2027. Directly it is expected that the issuance of the notice and the start of applications.
Beneficiaries
The Action may submit a request for funding, in the establishment and start-ups to medium-sized, small and very small businesses are expected to operate in the tourism sector.
In the case where the investment concerns in tourist accommodation, this should be a given capacity and specifications.

PRIMARY HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
- Hotels
- Rank in category 4**** (four-star) and above
- Capacity of twelve (12) beds and over
- Hotel tourist accommodation within traditional buildings referred to in P.D. 33/1979
- Organized tourist campsites (camping)
- Classification in category 3*** (three stars) and above
NON-PRIMARY HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
- Self-catering accommodations – furnished tourist residences
Minimum Number of houses: Three (3)
Note: The total number of self catering accommodation – tourist furnished houses necessarily will need to be embedded in the same Name MHTE. - Furnished rooms – apartments for rent
- Classification in category 4 keys and more
- A minimum capacity of twelve (12) beds
- Self-catering accommodations – furnished tourist residences
Subsidy amount
The projects will be submitted to the action may have a minimum budget of 80,000€ and a maximum of 400 000€.
The grant will be at the rate of 45% of the reported costs.
The aid intensity may be increased by (a) 10% if the investment is held in a remote or fire-stricken or πλημμυροπαθή area or small islands, and (b) in addition to 5% to achieve coverage of the target employment of at least 0,2 SRM, the first year after the completion of the investment.
The duration of the implementation of the investment projects specified in 24 months from the date of adoption of the decision of integration, without possibility of extension.
Basic conditions for participation
The beneficiaries must:
- To make an investment exclusively in one Region of the country. Excluded plans with place of business in the Regional unit Mykonos and the Regional Section of Thera, in the Municipality of Thera, other than the Municipal Community of Thirassia.
- To operate exclusively on eligible/s SMR, as he/s set/s in the Detailed Invitation, which is expected to be issued, throughout the duration of the implementation of the investment plan. The start-up to have entry only to eligible SMR of the Action.
- To provide accurate information and data location of the place of implementation of the investment on the property (land, buildings, or other self-contained space).
- To have an approved building permit, or at least filed a request this publication in construction and building completion from the date of entry into electronic submission specified in the notice.
- To provide a Certificate of land Use for the above place of realisation of the investment.
- To provide details of your usage rights (ownership, usufruct, lease) that hold on the property.
- To provide evidence of the potential coverage of Private Participation at a rate to be specified in the Detailed Invitation.
- To meet the requirements for the application of Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 (De Minimis) on which the Action is based.
Eligible expenses
With the accession to the action of the new companies that will be established will be able to receive a subsidy for the following eligible costs:
- Buildings, Facilities and surrounding Area
- Machinery – Equipment
- Digital Equipment and Software
- Other Equipment
- Aid first operation (boot MEDIA)
- Expenditure Projection and Extroversion
- Technical Studies
- Consulting Services
- Means Of Transport
- Indirect costs (up to 7% of eligible direct costs of the investment project)
